Now take a separate sheet of paper for problem solving using positive affirmations, and then rewrite your negative beliefs and thoughts. Rewrite your beliefs and thoughts how you would like them to be for your happiness and success. For instance, "I am depressed" would become, "I am happy". Now read this second list 3 times with a lot of feeling like it is true for you. Then find the statements in the positive affirmations that you have difficulty in believing about your self, such as "I am happy" for instance. Remember that what you are thinking on grows. That is why it is important to rid you mind of any negative thinking. During this exercise you will discover that most of your negative thinking is not actually true. Make sure what you are thinking on is always positive. You always have the choice to either live in the negative or the positive. Any negative thought can be replaced with a positive one.
Just the process of identifying your deep seated negative thoughts is enough to heal you and make you more successful. After spending time doing this exercise, take the negative thoughts list, go outside and burn it- so that it no longer exists any more. Then re-read the new list of positive affirmations for success, at least 11 times when you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed at night. Your thoughts create your life.
