Generalized anxiety is characterized by fear, panic, constant worrying and the inability to shut down the brain before going to sleep at night. You are constantly going over what you fear while getting stressed and anxious about your situation. The mind is preoccupied by several different problems that have become issues for you. Acceptance is one way of overcoming this.
You attract whatever you resist and do not want. Whatever you fear, whatever you worry and panic about, what ever you are thinking on, is always getting bigger and bigger until one day it may totally consume you or even kill you. However fear, panic and generalized anxiety can be dissolved in Love through acceptance.
One way of finding peace and dissolving our fears is through acceptance. You need to accept what happened, what it going on right now, and what might happen. The only way to escape fear and the object of fear is to dissolve it in Love. Fears may consume you right now, but Love will consume your fears. Acceptance means that you have stopped fighting and resisting what you do not want. It means transcending your problems and putting an end to fear.
Acceptance is a form of controlling the mind. When acceptance takes place your mind is controlled and nothing can disturb your heart. You are bullet proof and protected. When something bad happens to you or if you feel negative, there is no need to become hurt. You simply accept. Whatever happens you are always happy and in bliss. Nothing can disturb you, you are simply accepting.
Acceptance means to have an adjusting nature. If you completely surrender to what is going on in your life without getting hurt, but accepting whatever is happening with great Love then you are aligning yourself with God’s energy. Then God has no more plans to torture you.
One way of dissolving fear, panic, worry and generalized anxiety through acceptance is to experience the worst possible scenario in your head and then FEEL what you do not want. Sometimes we suppress feelings because we don’t want to feel them. We tend to avoid and run away from negative feelings. But once we have felt them they can become processed and dissolved.
If something bad happened in the past, such as any trauma that you don’t want to face- you may need to go back and FEEL that pain in order to release it. What ever you feel you heal. Acceptance means that you can process your blocks without being stuck in hurt. Go back and feel negative emotions such as disappointment, shame, fear, anger, embarrassment, sadness, sorrow, envy and hurt. Feel them one by one. These are healing emotions. Feeling these emotions helps dissolve generalized anxiety.
Experiencing generalized anxiety with acceptance can be like a special gift

They have experienced huge pain and hurt in their lives. They are sensitive and have learned valuable lessons from their experiences and mistakes. Anxiety is nothing more than feedback about what is going on in your life. To be strong and free it may be necessary to experience and understand the positive and the negative aspects of life. When you understand the human condition and the nature of suffering, you may become someone who is capable of healing and helping other people. As long as you accept all the lessons generalized anxiety offers you.
